dvd image creator

i wanted to make isos out of my PS2 dvds so i can relieve my driver of the heavy load when playing on Pcsx2 but i couldnt find a good software

but note that i do not have a dvd-rw i only have a combo so nero didnt help
so anyone recomend anything ????

I believe in order to make an ISO out of a PS2 DVD, or Any DVD Game, you need at least a DVD-Rom or DVD-RW Drive.

Do you have at least those?

Also Combo CD/DVD-RW drives are ok to make backups of DVD's.

Nero should be sufficient to backup PS2 games. If your getting errors, or the disc cannot be read, it's likely you don't have at least a DVD-Rom drive.

It might be your version of game you are trying to make a backup of contains some form of copy protection. If this is the case, try the program JKKDARK Mentioned.

If you still have a problem, as I had said, you probably don't have at least a DVD-Rom drive, or a DVD-RW drive

Knowing Your Drives Brand/Model would help as well, if you are having problems. If you know it, please post it, and then we'll be able to tell you if your drive is capaple of making a DVD Backup.

i said in my post i dont have a dvd-rw, but aLG cdr-w\dvd rom COMBO
so surelymay drive can read dvd roms the thing is that nero image drive is cd only so i'm going to try Alcohol120 how did i firget about it ???

you could also use only the free alcohol 52%, if you need alcohol 120%'s functionalty but dont want/need to burn to discs. consider it an upgraded daemon tools that can also make perfect ISOs.

it features a web browser toolbar though
