.msi How do you use?
Hi, I've been trying to get daemon tools 3.29 to correct issues I have been experiencing with running particular .cdi files with chankast, but it seems I can only find daemon 3.29 in a .msi file format. I do not know how to open/execute/run/utilize/spreadonbreadtomakeadelicioussandwich the .msi file format.
Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated. |

You should put some sauce or some pepper then cook it in oven. It's a installer file, just double click it as shendo said. Then install normally.

Well when I double click it I get a message stating...
"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed." But my windows is not in safe mode, and I searched for windows installer to see if I needed to download a newer version, and found a download for windows installer 3.1, and installed it. I tried opening it again and got the same message...

I have tried searching for an exe... and I'm feeling lucky just brings me to the daemon tools main site where they only have .msi files of their older versions.
EDIT: I found a site in another language with daemon tools 3.29 exe, but when I ran it I got the same error? thats really weird... I have no idea whats wrong. |

Damn, I know why is that, .exe is a self extracting archive which extracts .msi file and run it... too bad.
Dunno what is the problem with the windows installer service. Edit: Found something about that problem here.
