Starting on July 15, the day that the Mozilla Foundation was created, we ask that you tell just one person who doesn’t use Firefox why you think they should, why you do.

Share Firefox with a friend. If your friend downloads Firefox before September 15, you’ll both be immortalized in Firefox 2.
How it works

1. Pick one person you know, and enter their name and email address in the form on the right, along with your name and email address.
2. After you submit the form, check your inbox to confirm your email address.
3. Customize your invitation to download Firefox and send it to your friend.
4. Your friend receives your invitation to download Firefox.
5. If your friend downloads Firefox before September 15, we’ll add both your names to Firefox 2!

In Google's database in the first place, I would dare say.

Inside Firefox's source ? Forget about the about box, it'd constitute 95% of the code. That' make Firefox MUCH bloated for nothing. More likely in the website.

What exactly is the Firefox Friends Wall?
The Firefox Friends Wall is a digital wall that will display the names of everyone who participates in Firefox Day.

Where will the wall be housed?
At Mozilla headquarters, in Mountain View, California. We’re also planning on bringing the wall with us to conferences and events.

How many names will go on the wall?
All the names of everyone who participates successfully in Firefox Day. There’s no limit, as the wall is digital.

How will our names be included in Firefox 2?
If both you and your friend opt-in to have your names included, we’ll add your names to an interactive Firefox friends display that will be accessible from within Firefox 2.

What exactly is the Firefox Friends Wall?

To be honest, this is the most stupid way of spreading firefox I seen to date. "firefox friends wall" I don't know about you guys, but this doesn't appeal to me, no a tiny but. It reminds me of that MGS2 competition to get your name into the game in the form of soldiers names on dog Tags.
