The Answer to Spyware/Adware!

Ever been attacked by Spyware and Adware and run basically all the programs you can find and nothing works? Well I found the program that fixes most stuff on the first try! Security Task Manager is an awesome program because it detects EVERYTHING thats running and states how dangerous it is. From that it lets you delete it and take its auto-run commands out of the registry. It could never have been more simple!

In comparison to this, Adaware and anything else like that is complete dirt (seeing as it only deletes the adware I never noticed in the first place).

Gonna give it a try.
But i doubt it will be this perfect forever.
As the spyware makers will make a new way this program wont notice anymore...
Shareware? I pass...

I've had so many problems that those programs couldn't solve because the adware would just restore itself over and over.

Yeah i use spybot search and destroy and Ad-Aware and find it perfectly fine. I barely get any adware these days. The best way is to stay clear from sites that have it. So anyone who goes to sites stop looking at porn. Thats the main source.

I am using Microsoft Antispyware atm. Seems better than spybot so far. Regular scans, updates and checks.

I'm very happy with Webroot Spysweeper, it once helped me out where the combination of Ad-Aware and Spybot failed me. And only one time I needed another program: Hijack this.

Try getting rid of the Istsvc family of adware/spyware. I have yet to find a single tool that can effectively get rid of this. It monitors the registry so it'll always put back the autostart entry. The bugger also uses multiple stealthed/hidden processes that resurrect the main process if you attempt to kill it. Easiest way is to do it in safe mode.

Really... with the amount of spyware/adware they churn out (much easier than making worms actually), the best weapon you have is awareness. Admittedly, such awareness can be too much for the casual user, so I guess this is where such tools come in.

Aye, I've trained myself to know which sites are dangerous and which aren't. Though one does make the occasional slip-up .

Well for me this combo does the trick: Spyware Blaster + Spybot Search&Desroy + Mozilla Firefox web browser (all updated frequently).
