- Fixed in Firefox 1.0.4

• MFSA 2005-44 Privilege escalation via non-DOM property overrides
• MFSA 2005-43 "Wrapped" javascript: urls bypass security checks
• MFSA 2005-42 Code execution via javascript: IconURL
• Fix to DHTML errors encountered at some web sites.

Havent seen a changelog, but as its on mozilla's public FTP under the stable releases folders, i would assume it is the genuine thing.

How can you not like firefox? It works so much better...and it's not a big change from Ie to firefox, hell my parents can't tell the difference...so I might just hide IE from them...haha

THAT can go the other way too.... How can you not like IE? It works so much better...and it's not a big change from firefox to IE, etc etc etc...

it's personal preference, jeez. if you like firefox, use firefox. if you like IE, use it. but dont go raining on others' parades about it, think about how YOU want to be treated

Actually I use both
It's just so annoying how so many people praises Firefox and the reasons are something like it's "better" "more secure" "not M$", always nothing concrete

Firefox DOES have less security holes, compering the ones found in IE to the ones found in Firefox. You could go ahead and say thats because most people use IE and therefore hackers target that browser, and so on and on.. But in the end, its just as hushy says, personal taste.

Duuno why, but the update function in Firefox 1.0.3 didn't found version 1.0.4. Got to donwloaded manualy...
