Wmvhd Whow!!

someone just showed me an entire film in 720 WMVHD and it looks amazing and it was at a lower bit rate than DVD. no blockeness you get in other MPEG 4 format divx etc. during fast action it realy looked good.. what do you think about the new WMVHD i mean hi definition at lower bit rates than dvd with super quality!!!

It does look good but the files are huge and it takes a lot of processing power. I have a 1080i version of the Fifth Element around here somewhere...

You can see some more wmv9 HD videos(1080p) here. Nvidia also has a wmv9 video to show off their new Purevideo software here. WMV9 HD does look nice, but there are other HD formats that look better IMO.

You can check out some MPEG2 HD video clips here:
http://www.dvico.com/hdtv/download.asp Dowload the .tp extension files, then play them on WMP. These MPEG2 HD videos are 1080p. They also look better tham WMV9 HD IMO.
