Any way to refformatte disk?

this may sound like a noobish question,but is there any way to refformatte the
local disk without the operating system's cd?

Partition Magic is pretty fast formatting a HD. Nice GUI and user friendly.

Hi, if what u want is just to format your local harddrive, exit to DOS from your windows and type "format c:".

The problem with using that method is that it's limited to FAT32.
