making FFVII to work on win2k.
I'm not sure whether this is the right place to post but I see it as it's being the nearest objective to.
Anyway, I downloaded FFVII(i do own the original copy but it's spoiled, so don't come nagging about illegal thingie). At first, installation was a success. Tried to play it..no FMV...never mind, skip..then the main menu shows up. Press 'new game'. However, there's no FMV..so I just have to force to close it. I then download the patch that works for win2k. however, it gave me an error 'please insert disc 1, 2 or 3 and try again'. Now I need to ask several questions. Firstly, I do not know whether will this patch works in the first place. I just search around google to find it. Now I need to know a reliable place to get it. Secondly, I'm afraid that that patch will prompt me to insert discs which is spoiled as I';ve mention eariler. I need to know how to change paths or something like that. |

It's illegal to download a game even if you own a copy of it.
