Hi,

does anyone know what is: General timing formula (GTF), Discrete monitor timing (DMT) and Fixed aspect ratio timing ? And how to apply the proper display timing ?

Well after having a search on google, DMT is where the monitor timing is set by a table for specific resoloutions/refresh rates. However, because not every res/rrate is listed in the table, you have the GTF, a formula wor forking out the timing. Fixed Aspect timing in theory produces a more correct aspect ratio picture.
