Another annoying problem!!
the color for the words on my icons are usually clear and blend into the backround but now they are black? wats going on
 check the screenshot

WEIRD! it seems that it only happens with png files. if i save it as a bmp it works fine.

That's odd, I can set PNGs as my wallpaper without having that problem. Have you tried testing it with the standard Windows theme or by messing around in the Apperance tab in the Display properties?

thats weird...
i wud go right click my computer, go to properties, click the advanced tab, click the settings button under "performance" and scroll down the check boxes in the "Visual Effects" tab until you reach "use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" and make sure thats checked. other than that, im not sure wut to do
