Possibly WinDVD

Sometimes when im watching dvd's using WinDVD 6 I hear this really odd ass Clicking Sound coming from my speakers. strange thing is i only hear that sound Through DVDs, not files or mp3s. so it cant be a speaker thing can it?

Hm did this just start happening out of the blue?Maybe try a different dvd viewing program.

Maybe is the amount of bass, try lowering it a little and see if the click stops. There could be the dma though. You may have problems if its set lower than 3 and then sometimes a click can happen (happened to myself).

Aye if your speakers are not in overdrive you will hear some funky sounds. I remember my old speakers cracking on action dvd's. MP3's generally do not require the same "punch" as mp3's.
