Winamp 5.05 released

Looks like Winamp just released 5.05 I guess this has to do with some security issue that was posted before.

www.winamp.com

Here are the only changes I saw:
• Suave Security Fixes
• CD quality ripping/burning
with Pro!

Enjoy

Should I upgrade to 5.05... I have version 2.91 right now and I'm quiet pleased with it.... Is there any difference?

No. No difference at all. Just kidding.
Of course it's a lot of differences. I recommend you to try out 5.05 and if you don't like it, then go back to 2.91. Not hard at all

It's a kind a winamp 2.xx series (style) + some upgrades and goodies from winamp 3.xx series that was a very short explanation , but if you like 2.xx series, you'll like the new release ;]

get winamp5! it has a bit more of the features, and plus you can make it look just like the old school skin. it's also a bit faster IIRC, and...hmm well tbh i just use it for the pretty Modern skin, it's bigger and prettier oh yeah the new Media Library is excellent too

IMO I wish the media library would be more like MMJB, and Winamp5 uses more ram. It still rocks and I am not complaining

Winamp5 kicks ass, IMO, I don't understand how anyone can prefer f00bar or Sonique.

reich: i love winamp media library. i wouldnt change a damn thing. the only thing is that i fear for the day when i get my collection of music back (5500 now....almost back to the old 18,000) because in those days it took kind of a long time to search all my files

raziel: please, let's not get into that...you'll face the rage of khan artist or kirby
