On ATI cards I dunno, but you can get most of the features in the Advanced control panel

How much did you overclock it? I can't overclock (or underclock) my 9500 Pro at all. The stock BIOS prevents it (which causes the VPU Recover as you mentioned). You might have to flash a new BIOS to it in order to get it to overclock.

Edit: Shouldn't this thread be moved to software discussion?

It might be a little too hard to explain here, but I'm sure there are may sites on the net that explain it better than most of us could.

www.google.com and type in "how to flash your video card bios" Or something along those lines ^_^

no no no no no. There are no bios's for the 9600s that will be able to do much for you. use radclocker to set your overclock on boot.

Guyver2K5 you need to read up at Rage3d's Forums. Flashing a 9600 bios is pointless.

Tsk Tsk.. You know nothing of flashing 9600's, he knows nothing about it either. You cant just tell people to go flashing bios's to their video cards because chances are they are going to mess it up.

for your video card to be "stable" with overclocked settings it needs to be able to do "scan artifacts" for 60 minutes without errors. it takes a while to get it where you want and i dont follow this rule, but its the safest way to go.
