can't install norton on a windows 2000 server

i can't install sytemworks 2004 on a computer with windows 2000 server nor NAV 2004 pro i get this message that I can't install on a server why?
or what other anti viruses can I use for a windows 2000 server?

hey dhkim, long time no see. I think Norton doesn't support windows 2k server, u might want to check out there site and see if they do support it.

This is normal. Software manufacturers usually disable their consumer class products for server class operating systems and make you purchase alternative server versions. Norton should have a server version of their AV. That or there's AVG, F-Prot, Compuer Associates eTrust, etc... There' s a ton of them.

Flare is correct. I have found though due to my programing a few programs in my day, that some programs have a really unique check system for the OP, where others just pull up the name from registry and check hmm gee is this xp, 2k, 2k3..hmm lol So some you can actually try changing the reg key..but now days they use alot of librarys etc.. that each OP has different. And who wants to like say their xp system is 98? lol

actually it is true I only go on those programs once a month. and why are u using windows 2k server?
