is there any IM that I can chat with people with an AOL account, when I am log in the msn account, but without the need of making an account in aol??????????

hmm i dont think so....but you can use a software like Trillian to connect yourself to multiple chat thingies with online one program

Yup, Trillian rocks, it has a few bugs tho, but nothing very annoying
Or else there's Miranda IM, it's almost the same but I never tested it

I'd recommend trillian too, but if you want an alternative besides Miranda, try GAIM.

And FYI, you can also talk to AIM user on regular ICQ and vice versa. Wrong forum btw.

You can't use an IM service without having an account with that service. However, you don't have to have the official software for that service, and many of the alternate programs make signing up for such services very easy.
Trillian is the best, then easy message, then odigo.

This might shed some light on your question, but not the whole thing. You need a account to recieve IMs, but you don't need to connect to their service to access their IMs
