When the network was reset two things could have happened:
1) All the port forward information has been erased. OR 2) The IP address the port is forwarding has changed. For example you may have this setup in your router: Port Forward: 23 IP Address: 198.29.29.11 When you reset the network you may have another IP address that is different from the IP address in the router. Make sure that you are forwarding the ports to the correct address. |

he doesnt know how to forward ports, so theirs a chance either A. nothing was changed. or B. he screwed something up.
He actualy told me theirs no such thing as Forwarding a Port.

this message is given if there is a mismatch between your wan ip and the ip listed in mirc.......
probably you have "normal" lockup selected.... if you are behind a NAT it gives trouble with dcc tranfers in order to walkaround this problem mirc prompts this to you try setting lockup to "server"

Try change your ident/user, or try another server on the network you're trying to connect to. that will probably solve your problem. if not, you're doomed to live without irc! bwahaha!
