Windows XP Command Line Question
I have a quick question about the Windows XP Command Line. How do you set the path? I've been trying to set it up for some command line compilers I have. I tried altering the 'autoexec.nt' file, but no luck.

Re: Windows XP Command Line Question
The PATH is stored in the environment variables, which can be setup in the system properties dialog.

Re: Windows XP Command Line Question
Okay, I added the compiler locations to the path, but when I go to the command line, they won't show up. Does Windows XP put a cap on path length?
Edit: Nevermind, I got it. I didn't realize I needed to reboot. Thanks for your help ShadowFlare. Last edited by bcrew1375; December 5th, 2003 at 09:47. |
