winxp help(happened twice already)
here's the thing.i used to ahve dual boot.now i use winxp only.i record some tv programs on a regular basis.one time,when i was watching a recorded prog,and i fast forward the prog,i heard static sounds.then windows hang.i reset the comp and watched again.but when my friend tried to watch.the same thing happened but after that windows wont boot anymore.i ahd to reformat and reinstall.yesterday the same thing happened,i cant even use safe mode.its was searchin for some files under system32,i replced them with a copy, then it'll start to booth and then this blue screen(not the one that shows up during BSOD). sez somethin like,recent change of HW/SW. yes i changed mt keyboard.was using wireless then plugged my wired kb(for gaming,emu).help pls,im using leadtek win2000xp deluxe btw.tnx

Sounds to me, with the static, like it could be your sound card drivers. Make sure they are up to date. If the drivers are old, and they are trying to do something that windows does not expect, they will cause your machine to be unstable.
