Why? I agree the 3.8 wasn't good for R200 cards, but both the 3.9 and the beta 3.10 run perfectly here.

Yes the 8500 is faster than the 9000

The order by performances is the following DX8.1 ATI boards:

Radeon 9000 = 9200 LE
Radeon 9200
Radeon 9000 pro
Radeon 9200 pro
Radeon 9100 = 8500 LE (250/250)
Radeon 9100 pro = Radeon 8500 (275/275)

my friend had issues with bf1942, the cats3.7 fixed his problem

From what I heard, the 3.10 betas are the best drivers for that game.

Use the 3.7's for the 9000.
