QuickTime Alternative 1.22/Real Alternative 1.11 Released

OK, this is five days old, but still useful.

Real Alternative 1.11 has been released. Just some minor updates.

QuickTime Alternative 1.22 has been released. Some additional plugins were added and some other minor updates.
I imagine one of those "minor updates" would be MPC 6.4.6.8. Too bad there isn't a more detailed changelog.

I have never been able to get these to work except with the bundled player.

If I am forced to use the player that comes with the codec I amy as well use the real thing.

IMO, Media Player Classic owns Quicktime Player and Real Player. That's the whole point of this. Using the codec without having to use the offical player, which many people don't like that much. If you like the real thing better then these "alternatives" arn't for you.
