Re: GGX PC not working.

GGX = Guilty Gear X right ?

One advise for next time if it concerns pictures post it in the General Picture forum but this seems to relate to Software so it's okay I guess.

But still pics without any sepcification on what they mean are a bit unhelpful.

Re: GGX PC not working.

You have an old Radeon card.

The conflict between Radeon video cards and GGX is caused by GGX is writing to an area of memory which the Radeon video drivers are using.

So you have to free up the memory which the video card driver is using.

There is a manual way to free up the memory that the video card is using, but it can get messy.

Right click in the video card adapter and choose properties.

Click on the resource tab.

Deselect the use automatic settings check box.

Select a resource range and click on the change settings button to change the memory range.

I don't know which resource range to change because I never need to change the range on my PC.

Your video card might not allow you to change the range so you might be out of luck.

You might have buy a new video card to run the game. I suggest Nvidia.

It seems i cant change the range... might changing to WinXP help?

Ah well, i think im gonna let that GGX cd collect some more dust in the corner until i can afford a newer radeon rather than get a Nvidia one.

The reason I mentioned Nvidia because this problem haven't shown up with this type of video card.
