what the crap is wrong with nero?

ok i burn a lot of DVDs onto CDs; i like to have them on my computer. they are usually about 690 to 702 mb, and they always fit. however, lately, they havent. nero tells me to insert a larger capacity disc(look at first pic). however, look at the second picture: it holds up to 703, and its the SAME DISC that keeps getting rejected.

Re: what the crap is wrong with nero?

Probably file system overhead. Try turning on overburning support.

OT: What OSX theme is that, and what font is in your title bars? It looks pretty tight.

EDIT: for overburning to work correctly, you might need to need Nero 5.5.10.50 and this patch: ftp://ftp6.nero.com/support_doc/Nero...e5203Patch.exe

Hey, does your CD-R or CD-RW has 650 or 700 MB capacity?

And if you are using nero 6, you have to update to newest version if you want to use the overburn features.

For Nero 6.0.0.15, you'll need this patch:

ftp://ftp6.nero.com/support_doc/Nero...e5203Patch.exe

It's borked in both. :P

khan artist, i havent tried but im am POSITIVE you are correct: these problems have only been since i upgraded to 5.5.10.50.

by the way, my theme is called Liquidus, i got it on themexp.org, but i cant seem to find it now....if you happen to want it talk to me on AIM or MSN and ill send it. the font is called P22 typewriter. it's the first thing when you google "typewriter font"

EDIT:ok that didnt work. it gave me the same crap. im going to try the OLDer nero (5.5.10.42) to see whats up. if not ill give Nero 6 a shot....but last time i tried it, nero 6 messed up audio CDs left and right (not good)
