Joke Virus : Geschenk

My friend recently got infected with a varient of this virus and he cant get rid of it. Its that one that open's your cd rom and says its a cup holder compliments of cocacola. Well, his varient keeps opening and closing over and over again. I tried to fix it via remote desktop by cleaning his registry of any traces and checking msconfig to see if anything strange is starting up. He installed XP over his ME installation to see if that would get rid of it, but it didnt because he didnt format his drive first.

Does anyone else know what to do? Thanks

He's tryed every virus scanner. They dont detect it because its a joke....
