Re: ati control panel help

maybe you should check that it isn't running in the background... just close it in the task manager and then try to remove it again... why do you wanna remove it anyway?

Re: ati control panel help

Go to Driverheaven.net, they have a Driver Cleaner tool. I *think* it can also remove the Control Panel.

Re: ati control panel help

and there is a way to uninstall the control panel. I recently installed omega drivers and did a clean uninstall of ati's control panel through the regular old add/remove function.

I just removed mine thru the Add/Remove Proggie. Perhaps you should C-A-D and close the ati thingy's first

Re: ati control panel help

ATI control panel is running at Windows startup.

Use msconfig to shut down the ATI control panel the next time you restart Windows.
