i need help with mandrake 9.1!!

i need to know how to configure my PSX usb adapter in mandrake 9.1.

i tried unplugging and plugging back it didnt do nothing.

then i checked my control center it said.

unknown USB game device??

now how do i use it in mandrake 9.1??

I am new to this OS so if you know how please tell me step by step on how you do it!!!

BTW my usb adapter is the Radioshack one first model the black one.

i hope some one can help on this problem.

also i can finally play my N64 games with out the damn thing crashing on me

i dun think there are any drivers for it

There are no modules or drivers for any PSX to USB game adapter. Strange that Mandrake is not finding it though. When i used it it found mine, but now i use Gentoo.

Glad to see your N64 games aren't crashing

log in as root and try: modprobe joydev
If this does the trick, you should make it permanent.
I did the following change: in /etc/modules.conf, change the line
probeall usb-interface usb-uhci
to
probeall usb-interface usb-uhci joydev
