Re: mIRC Help

Click Alt + O (Options) , Under DCC , On Send Dialogs, Choose "Auto-get" or "Auto Accept" .

Re: mIRC Help

I never used invision , for reasons like that . one of the worst scripts ive seen IMO , I prefer Sysreset for fserv scripts .

Check invision's setup screens , their forum , or their irc channel as a last resort .

Re: mIRC Help

/me thinks this could be considered illeagle , so admins can remove at will .

These few sites are XDCC search engine , and are legal AFAIK :

www.ircspy.com
www.xdccspy.com
www.packetnews.com

You could search for anything you want and it will give you the network , Channel , Bot and pack number .

Re: mIRC Help

what is sysreset...is there a way i could get on IRC servers and have a comp sit afk and dl a file once it pops up? or should i just leave it simple and auto-accept a file and dl it?

AFAIK this is legal: tmd has a giant stash of "theater movies" and is legal to have for 3 months...so when i get on that server i always have to wait in a queue line on someone else's cmop/fserv?? or whatever...so when it sends me the lil window to dl i should just have it auto accept?

Re: mIRC Help

Sysreset is a script for mIRC , just like Invision . www.sysreset.com for details .

any mIRC shoul auto-accept Files once they are sent to you , the way i explained in the 2nd post of this thread . other ways may be needed for diffrent scripts (i use normal mIRC v6.03 with self made scripts) .

Re: mIRC Help

Yeah i figgured out the auto accept thing once i got invision. but the weirdness was without invision it still made me accept the file. even if i set it up to auto-get and resume. it was very odd. one of the admins on videopimp told me to reinstall mIRC for some reason..? dunno

Re: mIRC Help

Invision users are used to that .. reinstalling once a month or so since the settings get ****ed up from every little nudge

Make sure both mIRC and Invision are set to accept automaticlly .
