Re: Win98SE in 8mb???
Hell yeah. Too bad it's not freeeware.
Case in point: I recently put together a PC for my Grandma out of some old parts; a K6-2/400, 64MB RAM, and an 800MB HDD. I figured with a minimal install of Win98SE I would have no space problems... yeah, right. I installed: Win98SE, Mozilla, and OpenOffice.org 1.0.3. Seemed to be running just fine. I tried installing printer drivers, and there was no room on the HDD. *Sigh* The makers of EOS are http://www.litepc.com/. I might just have to buy 98Lite Pro for my Grandma's PC... and XPLite for myself. Or pirate them. But I didn't just say that.

Re: Win98SE in 8mb???
Very interesting. A small windows like this is useful for offices, like the one where I work (of course not in my computer
).

Re: Win98SE in 8mb???
To me it looks like 640x480 256 colors (like safe mode). I should get that for my comp since I'm running out of hd space
.

Re: Win98SE in 8mb???
From what I see this doesn't run from a hard drive but rather a fixed piece of memory.
If this is the case would you not have to have all the drivers for your hardware ready, I guess this is why they can charge for something like this, you send them all your system specs and they create the custom chip.
