Tv-out not playing Divx :(

I need help! My tv-out doesn't play divx anymore, it just shows a blank screen where the movie is supposed to be playing. Everyhing else works just fine... The weird thing is that it used to work but I don't know what I've done to screw it up :/ I've already uninstalled WMP9 and the divx codec (reinstalled it) but it didn't help.

I don't have a tv card

I've set the hardware acceleration tab to "disable direct draw and direct 3D" and it made the divx tv-out work properly but it's really annoying 'cos I won't be able to play my games.

I guess it's due to the Omega Drivers that I've recently installed but they're so good that I'm keeping them

O stupid me I thought you meant a tv card, not a video card lol

Well you could try reinstalling the drivers and if that doesn't work then I guess you'll have to keep changing the settings every time you watch a divx movie

If you have to disable directdraw and direct3d, doesn't that mean that it's probably a driver problem? (I'm not exactly sure)

you dont have to install anything... try using TV tool and switch to TV mode...

it works for me when i have the same problem

if your using nvidia tv-out and its on Clone...so your tv/monitor are identical...you have to set your tv to primary....

Gkort has the right answer

set the tv as primary display and the monitor as secondary; of course, dont forget to change it back afterwards.

yeah thats one way... or try this dont put your tv as the primary and just rum tv tool then run to tv mode...

apparently your monitor will turn into black and your TV will have all the things you want to see...

then just press CTRL + F2 to return back...

Or you could have it in 'mirror' mode

when razor blade asked if you were using hardware acceleration he meant on the dvd player

, if it's on try turning it off.
