nVIDIA's optimisation guidelines

nVIDIA are obviously making larger hypocrites out of themselves. Unfortunately the vast majority of people who buy their products are ignorant of what's going on.

They will be getting away with what they are doing for now with a large amount of uninformed consumers. Unfortunately the informed consumers make up very little of the market.

Might I add that nVIDIA's settings override all user and game settings.
An AF setting of application will still use bilinear in conjunction with AF.

Ati does 1 stage trilinear filtering with quality AF while setting AF to application preference allows the application to use the setting the application uses.
