Linux codec help

Alright, I've been fighting with this for days with little to no success. One of the things I love to do is view movie clips online (movie trailers etc) The problem is that there is almost no support for the three major codecs used in online video, RealMedia (.RM), Quicktime (.QT, .MOV), and Windows Media (.WMV)

I'm running Mandrake Linux 9.1 and I havenb't been able to track down any kind of player for these files.

Do they exsist, or am I S. O. L.?

As well as DVDs, DivX, XViD, etc.

Re: Linux codec help

Okay... I've got mplayer and the addtional codecs I need, where do I put the codecs? (Installed from an RPM, found on my mandrake CDs)

>.< you would THINK this would be in a man page or the online docs, but it's not
