Final Fantasy XI Benchmark

Download it... run it... and tell us your score.

http://bench.playonline.com/Download/FFXiBSetup.exe

I got 3961 while downloading anime (DirectConnect) from the net. I probably could have reached 4000. Supposedly if you get a score of 1500 and above you should be able to play it.

Specs in my profile.

I've downloaded it few month ago, when the first Windows version released. I know it from Japanese magazine and that before my CPU dead

Re: Final Fantasy XI Benchmark

I've tried this benchmark a while ago and i think the main thing that increases the results is how much ram you have. Hence, since didamangi and ShadowDancer both have 256 ram, you both got similar marks.

Hmmm... I did a search to see if someone posted this and nothing came up plus this came out on July 1st according to http://www.square-enix-usa.com/

May I have a link off the thread where this was posted. Maybe my searching skills need some refining.

Re: Final Fantasy XI Benchmark

They released a newer version some time, thus the files size change. The benchmark program sucks at rating actual FFXI performance according to many importers.

Re: Final Fantasy XI Benchmark

There are 2 versions, 1.0 and 1.1. The original was just zipped and the new one has an installer.

The PS2 network adapter is out now, but Square-Enix is waiting for Sony to release the hard drive.
