Nvidia video drivers for Linux
I want to update the drivers for my machine, but I don't know wich package to install based on my system... or how to install it. Also, how can I know wich version of xfree do I have? I'm using Linux Mandrake 9.1.

Re: Nvidia video drivers for Linux
A small update: I checked the xfree version and I'm ok according to the installation guide, but apparently I'm lacking something called the "Kernel modutils", cause the command "insmod -V" says "command not found". So, that's it.

follow the steps, on the step 4 do read the readme, it says all you need to know to install the drivers. |
