Unhappy Nero Problem: Can't Fully Erase CD-RWs!

I'm using 5.5.10.42 and I am having problems fully erasing rewritable CDs.

When I use the full erase option, Nero starts to erase the TDK CD-RW disc.

After 10 minute mark the progress bar would jump to the end.

An error message "SCSI Target Error" is given.

I have already tried this with four 700 MB TDK CD-RWs and have the same results.

I am using Adaptec ASPI Driver 4.71.

Can someone help me with this problem please?

better have installed force aspi instead the adaptec's one. It's the same file but the difference is that the installer really installs correctly the aspi layer.

Have you reinstalled nero maybe your nero has corrupt files.

Did you close the sessions of your CD-RW?

I found out the source of the problem.

There's a software conflict between Nero and InCD 4.017 where I installed the new version of InCD ten days ago.

Of course the real kicker is InCD is usually packed with Nero.

I wish the folks at ahead's quality assurance would have tested Nero and InCD together.
