Re: WinDVD / Using The DVD rom features problem
perhaps you can set the properties in WinDVD to NOT run when inserting a dvd, then any dvd w/ dvd-Rom features will autorun those features upon insertion
edit: please let me know if I am not being clear

Re: WinDVD / Using The DVD rom features problem
Win dvd wont show you the rom features because is trying to act like a standalone dvd player. The dvd roms have a program used to watch all the special content. Interactual is the most popular program that does it. Just set windvd to not auto run.

Re: WinDVD / Using The DVD rom features problem
Its the autorun feature that makes all the cds to play automatically, not only in windvd. But i have not tried myself. Just close the program and explore the disk, you should find an exe that will install the program needed.

Re: WinDVD / Using The DVD rom features problem
For auto run, there are 2 :
1. From the drive itself, you can enabled / disabled it from the hardware list. 2. From the WinDVD, for DVD movie and VCD to play automatically. You can enabled / disabled it from the WinDVD properties or click in the WinDVD button in your far right desktop [near clock]. |
