what audio codec for this?????

ok i have ffdshow and ac3filter installed... but this file freezes when trying to play on wmp.. and says audio decompressor not found in virtualdub.. so wut codec duz it use??

and its not porn :P

I don't like FFDshow. Hence I simply use the OGGDS codec, DivX 5.0.5, and XviD

Yeah, it comes with Gordian Knot (http://doom9.org) and it can handle AVI, MPEG, ASF, OGM and stuff like that, not to mention AC3 encoding into AVI files.

ok it loads in virtualdubmod and the sound works and everything... but i cant recompress the audio from there and it still wont play with wmp or anything else... also.. it says the audio is ac3 and i do have an ac3 filter..

i found out how to extract the audio using virtualdubmod. thanks again kane for the software tip

One point Media Player 6.4 <> Media Player Classic. They are sepeate apps.
