Is there a codec that allows me to play OGM videos?

Re: Playing OGM videos

You need to install OggDS to get most players to recognize OGM:

Re: Playing OGM videos

Point of note. That won't work if you use Windows Media Player (foir some reason, even after I install the codec, etc and drop it in the player, it doesn't wanna know), but Media Player Classic will work with them.

So would it work with Media Player 6.4?

Kane, for WMP9 you need to do this: File -> Open, pick any .OGM file. WMP9 will ask if you want to allow playback of that format, say yes and tell if to remember.

It's irrelevant anyway as I now only use MPC.

It appears that you should be able to do that if Badaro is right. I simply prefer MPC anyway.

So do I. But it's good to know it can be done with WMP9, might be useful one day.
