Add Remove List

Anyway to remove things off add remove programs list without using uninstall...hexen 2 demo and AvP gold are on there and won't go away and i want em off of there because they aren't installed anymore and i dont want to ahve to reinstall them

try using reg cleaner...

The tweakUI control panel item has an option to do this. Download the powertoys from the win xp site to install it.

For the jynxed people, the uninstall info is located in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\Uninstall" But I would recommend TweakUI, since some enteries don't appear like they do in the Add/Remove list

Now alien vs. Predator 2 won't come off and its not in any of these menus cuz my cd's got scratched and didn't install all the way

PC Magazine makes some pretty good tools, but that isn't one of them. Since Regcleaner was discontinued by JV16 Powertools, you could try both...
