CD-i?

forgive this stupid question but I never heard of cd-i in my place, can anyone tell me what is cd-i and what's the difference between Video CD and CD-i? thanks.

Not a stupid question at all... CD-i was the brainstorm of Phillips...it stood for CD interactive..or CD interactive software...they rolled it out further with the introduction of their console Phillips CD-I

so what's the difference from Video CD, I heard that Video CD player cannot play CD-i.

Thats because the CDI was like a game system ( A PRETTY BAD ONE but a game system none the less ) it's sort of like saying why don't a video player play playstation games, they are both CD 700 mb format.

Yup...

i got one CD-i it's Bryan Adams Clip

but long time ago only MPG2000 can play CD-i and none of VCD player can play that
