either use one of these
http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...&q=MIDI+to+wav
Or if u have a full duplex soundcard play the midi file whilst using a sound recorder to record from "stereo mix"

It should be said that a midi file is the digital representation of musical notes, so they can be played (converted) differently just like the same piece of music sounds different when played by a different orchestra. Converting midi to wav is like converting html to bmp.

There is a way. Just use one of the mentioned programs and you have what you wanted. I just wanted to tell you that it's natural if different programs lead to different results.

My preferred method is to use Timidity++ with EAWPatches to do the MIDI->WAV step, and then LAME for WAV->MP3.

I prefer to use WinAmp 2.91 to convert my MIDI files to WAVE, MP3 or WMA.

Just select Nullsoft MIDI player 3.01, change the Device to "DirectMusic / Microsoft Synthesizer (with output)", then select the output plugin: DirectSound output, Nulsoft Disk Writer plug-in or Nullsoft WMA Output plug-in or LAME plugin.

I gave up a while ago on that one - I just couldn't get anywhere near the same quality and eventually went with the hardware feedback loop to get it working. Honestly, how hard is it to follow the directions in the file and play the different notes from a soundfont? Shouldn't someone by now be able to do it?
