Wink Increasing Monitor brightness

Anyone know of any program or software that's able to increase the contrast or the birightness of the monitor... my monitor is damn lousy and it's so dim!!! Pls help~!?! hee.. thanks!!

do you have a NVIDIA card? if yes click the mouse right click...

then choose settings...
then choose advanced...
then choose choose the cards option (nview)
then choose overlay options...
then adjust...

well usually you have buttons on your monitor that can do that ......

Beside the buttons on the monitor and the display properties.. is there any other way? my monitor is already adjust to the max brightness.. but it still look dim..

If you got an NVIDIA try the Digital Vibrance feature or brightness

Some monitors are just dark. It might have something to do with age, my friend has a old Compaq monitor that is dark as hell. You just need to adjust in software, like in the game or use rei_fox's suggestion.

I have the same prob. My monitor is too dark. (Its too old!) But I use Power Strip to fix this. (The default gamma correction of 1 is soo dark I can't even see the image. Try 2.5 or 3.)

Go to http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ . Its shareware, but its fully functional. (trere's a 5 seconds delay b4 the prog start!)

theres a way to remove that 5 secinds delay... but cant tell...

powerstrip is a good option too to fix things like that...

My Monitor is MACROVIEW.. Bought it together with my pentium 4 423 pins 2 years ago!!! BTW P4 423 PIns and RD RAM sucks to the core!!
