what could possibly be the cause that i could easily connect to my neighbor's winxp but he can't?
we've been connecting our pc's via modem for gaming since win98, but when we upgraded to xp, it just became a one-way connection. whenever he tries to connect to me, the usual modem sounds rind and just says 'cannot connect/did not answer'. we are using the default settings when we create a new connection. thanks. |

EDIT: Do a search of the forums, I know there was a big thread on this topic before.
