divx installation problem

hi
i have installed divx in many computers.but in 1 or 2 computers i have problem installing it.when i run the setup program,during installing it updates the registry and here it gives a blue error screen.i reinstalled the windows then installed divx.then it runs fine.then after i shut down the computer and run it after a while.it gives me that blue screen again whenever i try to run any divx video.

what should i do ........is there any solution to it.any body familiar with the problem.

Don't use hacked codecs.

i have downloaded it from divx site its divx 5.0.2

get the lastest Divx 5.0.3 and see if that helps

or if you don't want to use DivX for encoding, get the much faster DivX decoder, ffdshow.
