How Do I Disable 32-bit Z Buffer With My GeForce4 Ti4600 Graphics Card?!

Quote:
GRIM FANDANGO

Technical Reference Guide - Details

Graphic Corruption (Manny Disappearing) on Systems Using the Matrox G200 Video Card

If you are experiencing graphic corruption while playing Grim Fandango on a system that has a Matrox G200 Video Card, the problem is most likely due to having the 32-bit Z Buffer option for the G200 enabled. The most common type of corruption reported is that Manny's body will seem to disappear.

The 32-bit Z Buffer option is not enabled by default, and de-selecting the option should resolve the problem. To de-select the 32-bit Z Buffer:

Right click on your desktop and select PROPERTIES
From the Matrox Display Properties Window click on the SETTINGS tab
Click on the ADVANCED tab in the lower right corner
Click once on the "Enable 32-bit Z buffer" option so the check-mark disappears
Click on OK to close the Window, and then click OK again to exit the Display Properties Window
Note: You will need to reboot your system for the new settings to take effect. Please reboot prior to playing the game.
I am having the same exact problem in Grim Fandango except with a GeForce 4 card. How can I disable this option? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I also have Rivatuner and Atuner. Thanks!

its for D3D right? In RivaTuner, Driver Settings: D3D Tweaks>Depth Buffering>Z Buffer Settings>Mine says Enable 24 bit Z-Buffer (my card is a GF4TI4200) and untick that option

If you have 24 bit z-buffer disabled. It should fall back to 16 bit
