Daemon vs cloneCD

I have been using daemon for a while now with good results. The newest version of CloneCD [4.2.0.2] has its own virtual iso driver thingy. and ideas on which I should use? Daemon is nice to change from the tray while cloneCD must be done by right clickinh to mount... if clone cd requires less memory (or just as much as the clonecd tray always has) i just might make the switch.

I have both running. Simply to test it, but never got round to it. I suppose one benefit of the CCD version is that the virtual drive will support all the copy protection methods that cloneCD itself does...

Well at least Daemon supports more prot schemes though.

But I'm using Elby VirtualDrive atm.

I have noticed that the elby does mount faster than daemon.

I guess I will just drop them an email and ask them to add tray access/configuration to the virtualDrive in future versions.

I got a very un-personalized email response saying "my issue would be addressed in the next version"

Didnt tried new clone cd yet but I guess I will still prefer daemon tools.(more options).

Why did they remove the "amplify weak sectors" and the Protected CD Games profile in US and Japan? lol
