In need of CD-burning software

I have to make a music CD. Most of my CDs are data CDs, and I have no problems with those, as I have my own preferences regarding data CDs. The problem is that I almost never create audio CDs, and I am having some problems.

I need a CD-burning program with these characteristics.

1) Can read all forms of MP3s, including variable bit-rates.
2) Does not write blank audio tracks at any time.
3) Can burn at a rate faster than 1X without crashing.
4) Is compatable with my burner. (CD-Writer 9500i)

Any help would be appreciated. Software can be commercial or freeware.

What problems? I've been using Nero ever since and I'm pretty satisfied with it. Dunno about the variable bitrate though.

What blank audio tracks?

You crashs at higher than 1x? Odd. Must be your burner. Check out the home sites of Nero, CDRWIN, EasyCD, etc for compatibility details.

Heh. I managed to find something I liked. But thanks for your advice. The problems I listed are problems I had with various different CD burning programs over time. Nothing to do with my burner.

I HATE Easy CD Creator with a passion. If anyone's interested, the program I found was Acoustica MP3 CD Burner. It works wonders.

phantom CD is nice because it does all that burning stuff and is a good utility for making ISO's and using them. It also does all the cd encryption emulation you'll everneed for the iso's.

It is kinda like nero and daemon's tools all together in one easy to use package I haven't made a frisbee yet with this program!

You might want to give InstantCD/DVD 6.0 a try , it can burn everything.

Sorry, I meant Windows Media Player 8. That's the first one I used to burn mp3s onto CD-RWs. Well, it converts the mp3s into tracks then write to CD-RWs. Seriously, that's the first one I used. Then I used Nero.
And oh yes, I know something about computers, but not a lot.
