the only problem in that scanning is IT DELETES any affected files...

so if your windows or any OS is affected it'll delete it for sure...

in short no repairing or quantarine

This web app was created by Panda software, makers of Panda Antivirus. Odviously if you OS contains a virus, you're toast if you run it. You betta stick with a program scanner just in case if it is a OS virus

2 antivirus scanners are pretty much trouble when used at the same time. It's OK if you can manage them both, but oftentimes, they don't go along fine.

Try doing it this way, get other AVs that complement each other's weaknesses. I have a Real time scanner, An autorun filter, a sandbox (though rarely used), an on-demand scanner, a firewall and I also tweaked my registry so that it scripts are by default opened by Notepad. I have yet to find a prog that blocks scripts that are automatically run by other software though.

They may seem a lot, but they're all very small programs, with the exception of the real time scanner. the firewall, I only put up when going on line.

Paranoid? Don't think so. I can proudly say that my PC(s) has yet to be infected by any virus since I was blasted by Die Hard 2 almost 8 years ago. Except the ones I *allow* for testing purposes.
