I own a G4ti2000 but Im not voting for nvidia, the only thing holding me back from getting a Radeon9700 is the price.
I liked my old Radeon64ddr vivo card a hell lot more than this G4, ATI's driver dont suck like most ppl say sure the 8500 had bad drivers from what I heard but I only had 1 game that wouldnt run with my Radeon64 and I have had quite a few that wont run with certain driver sets with the G4.....
Things I miss from my old card compared to my G4 are, Radeons TV out wasnt super crappy blurry like my G4, DVD playback was lots better/clearer/didnt skip/didnt have overlapping frames, colours in games were better.
Dont get me wrong I do like the G4 a lot as its fast in most games and it was great value for money..

3DFX for the past.
Nvidia for now.
ATi for the future.

I'm satisfied with my GF 4 Ti 4600 but I think ATI willeventually become the best. But at my current state I vote for Nvidia.

things i voted for nvidia:
1. really good drivers, always updated and always fixing some compatibility issues + bugs (w/ these drivers, i get the best performance + no need to use the fsaa fix in pete's plugins)

2. hidden antialiasing mode in geforce 3 and geforce 4 (8xs in d3d)

3. 3dfx is the best but things change.....

ATI are gonna go far!!! They are going far!! And don't put down their drivers, cause they resolved this issue by intorducing the 'Catalyst' Drivers, which have fixed all the problems I had, and sped my games up by alot. I'm now raising cash to get either the 9700 PRO or the 9700 A-I-W!!

If your talking about the top models of each of these brands then I would have to go with ATI (9700).

When Nvidia GeForceFX comes out that will (probably) change.

As for drivers, I have had no problems with any of Nvidia's or ATI's drivers.

As for Matrox: Matrox is not comparable to Nvidia or ATI at all.

I voted for ATI. Their drivers has greatly improved since the 9700's been released.
Hey TerminatorXP, I have a question... how did you get your hands on a 3.06? They arent here in Malaysia yet.

edit: Maybe nVidia's are still the best... aww but ATI aint far behind anyway.
