Isobuster problem

Hello. I have a strange problem with my favorite program Isobuster. It started to do something strange but whenever I make an ISO of orge battle and Megaman legends 2, it makes an ISO but however it stops near the end around 80% and just says error: sector can't be read/found, etc. What does this mean. I played both of the games and they work fine on the cd.

What seems to be the problem?
Help me please.

It's prolly Libcrypt. Use Clony XXL/CloneCD 4.X to back them up.

Either that, or your CD drive doesn't read your CD properly. Is the CD dirty? You might want to rub that gunk out, then try again.

try gently washing the cd in cool water and then wiping it with a soft cloth, this will safely clean it...

Will some sort of cd cleaning product be good? I mean I seen those in stores. Will that do the trick. Oh these psx games I was talking about are rentals so that may be the problem.

more important then a cleaning product is a cleaning cloth.
You want to avoid using anything that will leave lint or fibers.
For a couple of bucks(perhaps $4?) you can can a reusable cd

The challenge is getting the content off the CD not so much whether your putting it on another cd. A disk(hard drive) is a disk(r-cd)

k i had this problem too. i think i figured it out too. i was trying to rip the cds from lunar sssc, wwf attitude, and jet moto 2. like u said, the error occured around 95 - 96% in all the discs except the lunar making of cd. that occurred around 80%. These discs were all in excellent condition, with the exception of JM2, at least i was able to play them all. most of my other undamaged, and some damaged, discs ripped fine with isobuster.

I tried ripping lunar and attitude using clonecd. it takes longer, but whatever. when it got to the point where it couldnt read on isobuster, the cdr drive did the same thing. it slowed down, only this time it didnt stop and give me an error. i noticed this was the point where there was a separate sudio track on the cd. apparently isobuster wont properly switch over to read the audio track. i have no idea how to fix this, so use clonecd instead for multitrack psx discs.

i dont kno how accurate this is, so could ppl who have similar problems with seemingly good condition discs please check if the problem disc does in fact have separate audio tracks? u can do this in isobuster when u open it. there should be an iso track followed by any number of audio tracks.

thx, just by 2 cents. let me kno if im wrong

Ok well anyone who uses ISObuster, can u explain how to make an iso with multi-tracks? I don't have the internet on my computer yet and there is no way to copy. I use the library computer to check my email and crap. Can u help me with this problem. If I do, I can print it out and use the steps. Or email me at captain_n2000@yahoo.ca and write me the steps how it works.
thanks.

Hmmm perhaps it's my dvd-rom drive. my dad is taking my old one back in and perhaps it will fix the problem! I had way better success with the cd-rom than the dvd rom! WHy did I need that stupid thing anyways? It only good for movies and extras.
for me, my games on my cdrom was better!
