Okay this is so weird.

For some reason, Winamp 3 doesn't use filters like DivXG400 and DivX anti freeze which solve this.

I've never used Winamp 2 to play anything!! I always use Winamp 3 to play various music formats and Windows Media Player 6.x to play Videos (with the appropriate codecs installed).

I decided to go back to Winamp 2.81 because I didn't see any benefit from Winamp 3.0.

I am sticking with Windows Media 6.4 for videos.

I also find Winamp3 pretty lame, use it just because of the Media Library and Skins.

I got Winamp 3 just for the novelty of it. It's missing many shortcut keys and options that Winamp 2 had. Also, Winamp 3 has a much longer loading time.

Same story here, except I bit the bullet and went with WMP7, because it has enhanced codec support, and is a lot better with Divx.

Realone Player is very good, it has CPU usage variability, U can take it to lower to lower CPU usage, I just did that and guess what it is using 2 Percent of CPU only, just like Winamp 2. Winamp 3 uses around 6 to 8 Percent.
