Only D3d games crashes here. Dx problem??
Some games always crashed here, after i installed XP. War 3, GTA3, and now UT2k3 and Soldat too.
But OpenGL games, like Quake 3, Half-Life and epsxe9 (i know its not a game, but i use pete´s OGL). I was wondering if my Video card was going to burn?!!?! then i remembered that when i DL the patch to run GTA3 on XP, i got the English one, but my system is in portuguese, which should have screwed up with Dx. The crashes are very strange, they give me BSOD, saying that something wrong happened and blah, blah, blah and in the end of the report, it said something like STOP and showed some numbers folled by: nv4_dsp.dll more blah. What do u guys think?? Should i do a clean XP install??

if it is DirectX, then download directX buster, it'll completely wipe DX from your system, then reinstall DX, this might help

Make sure you run it in safe mode, or you'll be left with a 2000 buck paperweight.
